Destination Marketing for Francophone Operators March 2008
This mission visited Saguenay, Québec, March 25 - 29, 2008.
The goal of this mission was to recruit French-speaking participants and expose them to the framework necessary for Saguenay to be considered an ideal place to visit for Francophone tourists. This destination was a good example of an area that tailors its tourist products to the French-speaking market. The group learned of ways to develop and market with success an authentic tourist product with the intention of attracting French visitors.
